While many might find probate and estate administration to be a heavy or difficult area of law, Adessa views it as a profound privilege. It is an opportunity to step in during life’s most vulnerable moments, taking the weight of legal processes off grieving families while offering comfort, support, and a listening ear for cherished memories.
Professional Journey
Adessa’s path into the legal field began at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. Initially planning to pursue family law with dreams of law school, a career pivot led her to a role at an Estate Planning, Probate, and Business law firm. Despite having no prior coursework in estate administration, Adessa completely fell in love with the practice and knew she had found her calling.
After relocating from Florida to Ohio, Adessa expanded her expertise by learning the Ohio side of probate law. Driven by a lifelong desire to help people in their times of need, she briefly explored a role as a Social Worker II at Job and Family Services. While rewarding, the pull of the legal field was undeniable. Realizing that probate law was her true missing piece, Adessa returned to the field with renewed dedication. She is thrilled to bring her talents and compassionate approach to the team at Jarvis Law Office!
Life Outside the Firm
When the workday ends, Adessa’s focus shifts completely to her family, relaxation, and a bit of weekend adventure.

Family Time: Adessa loves spending every possible moment with her husband (they have been together since April 2020) and their young son. Her son made his grand entrance on April 1, 2025—the one day Adessa kept jokingly telling him not to arrive!

Off-Roading: On the weekends, you can often find Adessa and her family taking their razors out to hit the local trails. Her father, stepmother, and younger brother live just down the road and join them for family time every weekend.

The Pet Menagerie: The Tucker household is happily chaotic, featuring two dogs (a Catahoula Leopard Dog and a Black Lab/Rottie mix) and one endearingly chunky cat with a penchant for tearing up the curtains.

Reading & Travel: A huge fan of getting lost in a good book, Adessa gravitates toward thrillers and romance novels. As for vacations? If the destination has a pool or a hot tub, she is already packing.
Community & Philosophy
While living in Florida, Adessa was highly active in animal rescue, volunteering at local shelters to help socialize dogs and cats. As she continues to put down roots in Ohio, finding new ways to give back to her local community is a major goal for the future.
Whether she is navigating complex estate files, helping a family honor their loved one’s unique legacy, or juggling life with a toddler and a house full of pets, Adessa is guided by a favorite piece of wisdom:
