Mala Marquina is the Marketing Office Administrator at Jarvis Law Office, where she supports the team with a strong background in customer service and education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in Mexico. Prior to joining the legal field, Mala gained extensive experience working with companies like AT&T, Comcast, Sprint, and Charter, and also served as an English and Administration teacher in Mexico. Her diverse professional background has equipped her with strong communication and organizational skills, making her an asset to the firm.
While her role isn’t directly client-facing, Mala is passionate about contributing to a team dedicated to helping families secure their futures. She takes pride in supporting work that provides real solutions and peace of mind to clients, knowing that her efforts play a part in making a meaningful difference. Authenticity and clear communication are at the heart of how she approaches her work, fostering a collaborative environment within the firm.
Outside the office, Mala is a musician with a secondary technical degree in Mariachi Music from Mexico City. She enjoys performing, has dabbled in stand-up comedy, and recently rediscovered her love for boxing. An active community advocate, she’s part of Feminist Bar, a collective supporting women in sports, particularly female soccer players, promoting equality and fair opportunities. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she also collaborates with various activist and artistic groups to support inclusion and social justice.
Originally from Mexico, Mala now lives with her mother and their four cats—Morris, Lizzy, Mika, and Molly—enjoying the opportunity to reconnect after years of living in different cities. She finds joy in life’s simple moments, from coffee dates with her mom to spontaneous dance appearances on stadium cameras during soccer matches.
